"I command you--be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9

     We are no strangers to grief and suffering.  While our family has endured so many losses, the loss of our beloved daughter  and sister Jennifer on August 13, 1994 and the most recent loss of our precious grandson, son,  and nephew Jacob on January 23, 2007 were devastating.  Without God's love, mercy and grace, we could not survive.   Their stories are contained on the next two pages and we hope you will share in their lives and our memories.

     People tell us they admire our strength and our faith,  but please understand we are not that strong.  We grieve just like you.  At times God seems very far away and we struggle to make sense of the tragedy of this world.  We share our tears and our hopes and we lean on His precious arms.  We are supported by the prayers of hundreds who know our story and their endless plea for strength, peace and comfort in our hearts. We hope if you are touched by this web site you will not be in awe of us, but rather be in awe of God's loving grace.  It is available to all who seek it.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Phil 4:13

The LORD is my shepherd,

I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

He restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness

for his name's sake.

Even though I walk

through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD

forever.
