Dear Lord
Dear Lord I kneel before You
singing praises to Your Name.
The pain's so deep within me and
sin's the one to blame.
Rejoicing in Your promise and
the peace that let's me stand, to suffer in Your honor till I
reach the Promised Land.
Your blessings fall upon me
throughout my darkest hour.
Your love is radiating to
reflect Your awesome power, to heal a heart so broken and
ease the pain and grief.
Your grace and mercy present to
bring such blessed relief.
I know that I can trust You;
Your promises are real. My faith in You grows stronger
as the wounds begin to heal.
Lord lead me where You want me,
Your will I must obey.
Lord lead me to touch others who
may have gone astray.
Your truth will be my armor, my
life won't be the same.
In all I say and do Lord let me
glorify Your name.
I live to fill Your purpose, I
pray Your coming nears.
To wipe away the suffering and
dry away life's tears.
I long to go to Heaven with
loved ones who have died.
And join the saints before me
standing at your glorious side.
This earthly world around me
belongs to sin alone.
I'm only here to visit - Heaven
is my home.

Paintings In The Snow
I hurried through my busy day,
my plans somehow had gone
astray.
With shaking hands and pounding
heart,
the tensions had begun to mount.
With tapping toes, a frown was
set,
I snapped at everyone I met.
The drive back home loomed dark
ahead, my body was tired, my heart was
lead.
I turned the curve and time
stood still.
A wondrous sight rose on the
hill.
The ground and trees were bathed
in white;
untouched, unspoiled and warm
with light.
Though only seconds could have
passed,
the joy they brought, I knew
would last.
I raised my eyes to skies above;
my heavy heart grew light with
love.
God painted pictures in the
snow,
reminding me He loves us so.
I stopped the car and bowed in
prayer,
to thank the Lord for beauty
shared.
